Key Responsibilities: Preparation and analysis of management accounts and financial reports Costing and cost control , including monitoring and variance analysis Ensuring compliance with tax, VAT, and statutory requirements Performing bank reconciliations , managing cash flow, and supporting treasury functions Tracking and reporting on financial performance Supporting and overseeing procurement processes , including:Vendor management Approvals and governance Resolution of supplier queries and disputes Assisting with audit processes and ensuring audit readiness Minimum Requirements: BCom Accounting degree (essential) CA(SA) qualification (advantageous) Proven experience in a Financial Accountant role, preferably within the mining sector Exposure to or experience with audit processes Candidates who have completed articles auditing mining clients will also be considered a strong alternative Technical Skills: Experience with Pastel Sage VIP Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs) Ability to work with and interpret financial dashboards Key Competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and accuracy Effective organisational and time management abilities Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills If you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
