Due to continued growth and project demand, they are looking to expand their engineering team with an expert in mechanical systems design.As the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer , you will play a critical role in developing mechanical components and assemblies across a range of vehicle platformsfrom concept through to production. This is a high-impact role with substantial responsibility and the opportunity to influence the design direction of innovative vehicle systems.Key Responsibilities: Lead mechanical design activities for vehicle systems and sub-assemblies using CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, NX, and SolidWorks) Translate performance and functional requirements into robust, manufacturable mechanical designs Conduct tolerance analyses, material selection, and design-for-manufacture reviews Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Electrical, Systems, and Manufacturing Engineers Provide technical mentorship and guidance to Junior Engineers Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities Essential Requirements: Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Minimum of 7 years of mechanical design experience, with a strong background in vehicle design Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and design documentation Solid understanding of mechanical systems, manufacturing processes, and materials Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex design challenges Experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., automotive, aerospace, and defense) is preferred Apply now!
