NHS Grampian Senior Clinical Fellow (ST6+ / POST CCT) – Advanced Endoscopy (ERCP) Job reference: CK Job Overview Applications are invited for the post of Senior Clinical Fellow in Advanced Endoscopy (ERCP/EUS) at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary. This is an exciting opportunity to develop advanced endoscopy expertise, starting 5th August 2026 and ending 4th August 2027 for a 12‑month fixed term. The service is a large tertiary endoscopy department, and active clinical research is encouraged. Responsibilities Perform 3–4 specialist training lists per week. Conduct 3–4 service endoscopy lists per week. Run up to one outpatient clinic. Allocate time for administration, continued professional development and research activities. No ward work or on‑call duties. Encouraged involvement in active clinical research. Qualifications Senior trainee with JAG accreditation (or equivalent). CCST/CCT/CESR in Gastroenterology or a suitable specialty, or approval for OOPE. At least one year of training as Grade I ERCP. Full registration with a GMC licence to practise must be in place prior to starting the post. Other Information Full‑time, fixed‑term (12 months) post with no educational approval from the Postgraduate Dean and therefore not recognised for training.
