Job Title: HR Account Manager (full-time) Location: Cape Town, South Africa Working Pattern: Hybrid Working Hours: 10am - 6.30pm SAST Reporting Manager: Chief of Staff Overview We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive HR & People Operations Manager to take ownership of our internal people processes while supporting core account management functions. This role sits at the heart of the business, ensuring smooth operations across HR, finance coordination, and client delivery support. Key Responsibilities HR & People Operations Manage employee lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, and documentation Draft and maintain employee contracts and HR documentation Track attendance, leave, and payroll inputs Support performance reviews and salary increase processes Conduct regular employee and client check-ins Managing employee Performance Improvement Plans Managing employee retrenchments, terminations and resignations Representing the business at the CCMA if needed Oversee payroll processing and related updates via Xero and Dext Account Management Support Support management of client relationships (primarily hiring managers) Maintain and update client service agreements Draft recruitment sprint terms and engagement documents Track client billing updates, commissions, and bonuses What We’re Looking For 3 - 5 years experience in HR / People Ops (ideally in a fast-paced environment) Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail Comfortable handling HR and people related matters within an organisation Experience supporting client-facing work or account management is a plus Ability to work autonomously and prioritise across multiple functions Ideal Profile You’re someone who thrives in a “wear-many-hats” environment. You’re as comfortable drafting a contract as you are jumping into a client check-in or reconciling invoices. You bring structure, calm, and clarity to complexity.
