Johannesburg / Durban A progressive training company specialising in compliance training within the financial services sector is seeking an experienced and dynamic Legal / Human Resources Manager to lead the organisations legal, labour relations, compliance, and HR functions.The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with labour legislation, managing employee relations, overseeing governance and risk processes, and supporting strategic HR initiatives across the business.Minimum Requirements: LLB Degree or relevant HR / Law qualification Minimum 7 years experience in Legal, Labour Relations, Compliance, and HR Management Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation and corporate governance Experience managing CCMA matters, disciplinary processes, and HR operations Excellent leadership, drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills Strong organisational ability and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Key Responsibilities: Manage legal, labour, litigation, and compliance matters Oversee disciplinary hearings, grievances, CCMA cases, and employee relations Draft and review contracts, policies, and legal documentation Ensure compliance with labour laws, governance, and regulatory requirements Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and HR operations Develop and maintain governance, risk, and compliance frameworks This opportunity is ideal for a strategic and solutions-driven professional who is passionate about people, governance, and compliance within a dynamic and purpose-driven environment.Please note that this position could be based in either Johannesburg Northern Suburbs or Umhlanga.
