Job Summary Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd is seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our team. The Administrative Assistant will provide vital administrative support to various departments, ensuring seamless workflow, accurate record‑keeping, and effective communication across teams. Key Responsibilities Perform general administrative duties including filing, data entry, and document management. Draft, proofread, and format official correspondence, reports, and presentations. Manage and maintain schedules, appointments, and meeting arrangements. Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external communications. Support the preparation and coordination of departmental projects and initiatives. Maintain office supplies, equipment, and inventory records. Assist with record‑keeping, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Facilitate the smooth flow of information between departments and management. Provide ad hoc support to team members and leadership as needed. Required Skills and Qualifications National Senior Certificate (NSC) or equivalent; relevant tertiary qualifications in Administration, Business Management, or related fields are an advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are an asset. Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to multitask. Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks. Professional demeanor and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Experience Entry‑level candidates are welcome. Previous administrative or office support experience is advantageous but not mandatory. Internships or practical experience in administrative or office settings will be considered a plus. Working Hours Standard office hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00. Flexibility may occasionally be required to support departmental deadlines. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Understanding of administrative procedures and office management systems.
