About the Role Job Spec 10+ Years of experience required / Architect level experience Key Responsibilities Design and own PostgreSQL database architecture for high‑volume, high‑availability systems Develop and optimize complex SQL, PL/pgSQL, functions, triggers, and queries Perform advanced performance tuning, indexing, partitioning , and query optimization Implement and manage HA/DR solutions (replication, failover, backups, PITR) Lead database migrations (Oracle / MySQL / SQL Server → PostgreSQL) Ensure security, access control, compliance , and data governance Support cloud PostgreSQL platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) Provide technical guidance and mentorship to teams Mandatory Skills PostgreSQL internals, architecture, and performance tuning Advanced SQL & PL/pgSQL Replication, backup, restore & disaster recovery Linux/Unix environments Cloud‑managed PostgreSQL services Zensar believes that diversity of backgrounds, thought, experience, and expertise fosters the robust exchange of ideas that enables the highest quality collaboration and work product.
