Job Description: Lead fire safety and compliance design for multidisciplinary building projects Deliver rational fire designs, including smoke control, stair pressurisation, and sprinkler systems Manage medium to large projects independently or within a broader design team Represent projects in client engagements, design reviews, and site meetings Oversee tender documentation, project administration, and technical outputs Mentor and guide junior engineers within the team Skills & Experience: Minimum 10+ years experience in fire engineering within building services Strong expertise in SANS fire codes and rational fire safety design In‑depth experience in sprinkler systems, smoke control, and fire protection design Proven experience on complex commercial, industrial, or mixed‑use projects Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills High level of technical reporting and review capability Qualification: BEng / BTech Mechanical Engineering ECSA registration (PrEng/PrTechEng) Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered Connect with us on
