Job Purpose This position primarily provides administrative support for the procurement of facilities, services, and non‑stock products for Harsco Rail. Key Result Areas Administration of the Harsco vehicle fleet Reduction of stock outs Responsibilities & Duties Sourcing support – for non‑stock items and services, including raising requisitions. Support with qualifying suppliers and reviewing supplier performance. Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously. Management of the company service portals such as travel, PPE, stationary, etc. Management of company vehicles – servicing, replacements and escalation issues for drivers. Management of building services such as air‑con, heating, water coolers, etc. Raising purchase orders, manual orders and maintaining LN data integrity. Expediting critical non‑stock and overdue purchase orders. Resolving supplier problems related to invoicing issues, rework and faulty items or services. Develop excellent working relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers. Review, analyse and interpret various reports. Constantly look for improvement opportunities and report as appropriate. Interface with company and/or supplier senior management. Travel may be required to visit suppliers and Harsco locations to build relationships. Work towards having all services on a purchase order to reduce manual invoices. Manage contractors that provide services to Harsco, ensuring they are qualified and provide good quality service, as directed. Support issuance of yearly code of conducts and reviewing compliance. Work closely with the EHS manager when purchasing safety products or offering alternatives. Be a strong team player with the ability to work effectively on cross‑functional teams. Make safe any unsafe conditions where practical and challenge unsafe work practices. Inform your line manager, supervisor or health and safety representative of any unsafe occurrences.
