This role is for a proactive and self-starting individual who will be responsible for managing incidents and driving continuous improvement for the Intermediary Business within ICIB tech.About the Opportunity: You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of production systems, focusing on Java-based applications. This position requires a collaborative approach, working closely with development, operations, and QA teams to implement best practices in change management and incident resolution. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support for production systems, specifically for Java-based applications. Monitor application health and performance using observability tools and logs. Investigate and resolve incidents within agreed SLA timelines. Perform root cause analysis and implement preventative measures. Coordinate with development teams to deploy fixes and improvements. Create and maintain essential support documentation and operational runbooks. Support releases, patching, and change management processes. Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards in all support activities. Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding incident updates and risks. Participate in a 24/7 on-call support rotation if required. Requirements Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.Experience: Strong hands-on experience with Java (Java 8 or higher).
