Key Responsibilities Source, negotiate, and procure construction materials, plant, equipment, and services. Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations and ensure cost-effective purchasing decisions. Establish and maintain strong supplier and subcontractor relationships. Monitor stock levels and coordinate deliveries to project sites. Issue purchase orders and ensure accurate procurement records are maintained. Work closely with Project Managers, Site Teams, and Quantity Surveyors to meet project requirements. Track supplier performance, pricing trends, and market availability. Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and project budgets. Resolve supplier queries and delivery issues efficiently. Minimum Requirements Relevant qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. 5+ years' experience as a Buyer within the Civil Engineering, Construction, or Infrastructure sector. Strong knowledge of civil engineering materials, plant, and procurement processes. Proven negotiation and supplier management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement systems. Excellent communication, organizational, and administrative abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment and manage multiple priorities. Preferred Experience Experience procuring materials for roads, earthworks, pipelines, bulk services, and infrastructure projects.
