About the Role We are working with an independent consultancy dedicated to empowering frontline staff through innovative IT solutions. They are entering an exciting period of growth and building our Cape Town capability to deliver world‑class workforce management solutions and scale our operations. As a Functional Consultant specialising in UKG Pro Time & Attendance, you will work end‑to‑end on client engagements, focusing on time capture, scheduling, labour rules, and system integrations. You will play a key role in designing, configuring, and implementing scalable workforce management solutions across complex retail environments. Location Cape Town (Hybrid with min 3 days in the office). Candidates must already have the permanent right to work in South Africa. Any relocation required would need to be arranged and funded personally. Key Responsibilities Engaging with stakeholders across operations, payroll, HR, and workforce planning to understand Time & Attendance requirements Analysing current time capture, scheduling, and labour rule configurations Designing and configuring UKG Pro (Time & Attendance) solutions aligned to business needs Translating business requirements into functional specifications and system configurations Supporting and configuring integrations between UKG and payroll, HR, and third‑party systems Defining and implementing to‑be processes across time capture, absence, and scheduling workflows Conducting system testing, validation, and defect resolution, particularly across T&A and integrations Supporting data validation, pay rule accuracy, and compliance with labour regulations Delivering training to operational and payroll teams on Time & Attendance functionality Supporting go‑live and post‑implementation optimisation Essential Knowledge and Skills Strong understanding of Time & Attendance processes (time capture, pay rules, absence, scheduling) Experience with system integrations (e.g. payroll, HRIS, third‑party systems) Exposure to configuration, testing, and implementation of WFM systems Strong understanding of workforce operations and labour rules (ideally in retail or frontline environments) Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and validate outputs Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills Ability to work across multiple workstreams in a consulting environment Qualifications BCom / BSc in Industrial Engineering, Business, Statistics, Finance, HR, Information Systems, or a related field Experience with UKG Pro integrations (APIs, interfaces, data mapping) or similar Exposure to payroll processes and downstream impacts of T&A data Experience in retail or large‑scale frontline workforce environments SQL or data analysis exposure beneficial #J-18808-Ljbffr
