Who we are looking for: We need a sharp, Technical Project Manager to join our Operations engine. You are the bridge between big ideas and flawless execution, obsessed with our OTIFNE standard: On Time, In Full, No Errors, and On Budget. With a background in engineering or manufacturing and a solid commercial brain, you’re someone who solves problems before they even surface. Whether you’re independently steering a complex project or collaborating with our client-centric teams, you bring a "get it done" attitude and the technical grit to make it happen. Job Description / Requirements: Manage costing, prototyping, production, quality control, and project installations. Manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective project communication. Manage internal flow of communication and deliverables between departments (traffic management). Perform detailed project management and administration, including timeline & critical path management, meticulous financial tracking, budget management, and reporting. Ensure that all Project related files and artifacts applicable to the Operations Shared Google Drive folders are properly organised, labeled, and stored. This includes maintaining a well-structured filing system, & regularly updating the records. Engage proactively with clients to clarify project requirements, update progress, and manage expectations. Manage and maintain healthy supplier relationships. Actively participate in R&D and innovation initiatives, contributing to the continual enhancement of VF's product offerings. Qualifications & Experience: A degree in Industrial Design or a related field is preferred. Experience in Industrial Design, Production Management, Mechanical engineering, or Shopfitting is essential. A Project Management Diploma (NQF Level 5), PMP certification or similar will be advantageous. Minimum 3-5 years of proven project management experience within the manufacturing sector, with extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes (metal, wood, plastic, cardboard). Ability to manage multiple complex, multi-phase projects simultaneously; ideally within the shopper marketing, point-of-purchase display or agency environments. In addition, the following will be an advantage but not essential: Proven experience in SolidWorks (3D modeling and drafting) is preferred, but not essential Procurement experience will be advantageous. Expertise in logistics management will be advantageous. Experience in installation planning and execution will be advantageous.
