This role requires a balance of technical accounting excellence, strategic thinking, and operational leadership. You will be responsible not only for financial reporting and compliance, but also for driving efficiencies, improving systems, enhancing profitability, and building scalable financial infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Finance & Commercial Oversight Financial Management & Reporting Accounting, Tax & Compliance Systems, Controls & Process Optimisation Revenue Assurance & Reconciliations Payroll & Payment Management +- 150 staff Client Finance & Billing Maintain accurate accounting records Assist with raising finance for developments Manage directors personal and trust accounting Conduct reviews and identify cost-reduction opportunities Support all ad hoc finance requirements Qualifications Chartered Accountant (SA) BCom Hons + Completed articles will be considered Skills Fluent in English and Afrikaans Proficient on Xero, SimplePay and SARS e-Filing 36+ years post-articles experience in a multi-entity or hospitality/property company Strong commercial acumen Analytical and detail-oriented Process improvement mindset Leadership and ownership Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
