Role Description We are seeking a full‑time Buyer to join our team on‑site at our Gauteng location. The Buyer will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing high‑quality building materials, negotiating with suppliers, and maintaining stock levels to meet business and customer demands. Additional responsibilities include forecasting inventory needs, analyzing market trends, vendor relationship management, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to meet project timelines. Qualifications Strong procurement and negotiation skills to build effective relationships with suppliers and secure cost‑effective deals. Knowledge of inventory management, purchasing processes, and supply chain operations. Analytical and market research skills to assess supplier performance, product trends, and customer needs. Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. Previous experience as a Buyer or in a similar purchasing role in the building or hardware industry is highly advantageous. Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office suite is preferred. Relevant diploma, degree, or certification in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or Business Administration is an asset.
