Job Title Healthcare Informatics Intern – South Africa Location Cape Town or Johannesburg, South Africa About The Team The Healthcare Informatics team plays a critical role in supporting healthcare technology solutions and ensuring successful implementation and operational excellence across healthcare environments. This internship offers valuable exposure to healthcare systems, technical operations, and project coordination within a purpose‑driven industry. Responsibilities Support the Healthcare Informatics team in deployment and implementation activities across customer sites and internal projects. Assist with market research, inventory management, delayed order follow‑ups, and documentation tracking to ensure smooth project execution. Manage and update records, Salesforce data, contract install bases, and operational documentation. Coordinate emails, attend meetings and workshops, and capture meeting minutes accurately and professionally. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams while maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the team wherever required. Qualifications Academic exposure or internship experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Health Informatics, or related technical environments. Basic understanding of healthcare informatics concepts and systems. Familiarity with hardware, software, and network troubleshooting. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking capabilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Resourceful, proactive, and eager to learn in a high‑energy environment.
