Minimum requirements: Minimum Matric or relevant NQF qualification Qualification in computer science or similar field Newly graduated with 1 year experience within a similar position Experience in wholesale or retail analytics (internships included) Exposure to ERP or POS systems (SAP, Oracle Retail, SAGE, or similar software Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar software Knowledge of inventory, pricing, and supply chain concepts Basic knowledge of Python or R for data analysis Key Responsibilities:Data Collection and Preparation Gather data from POS, ERP, CRM, inventory, and finance systems Clean, validate, and prepare datasets for reporting and analysis Maintain data integrity and assist in troubleshooting data issues Reporting and Visualization Produce daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports (sales, stock, margin, shrinkage, promotions, etc.) Create dashboards and visualisations using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools Support the development of automated reporting processes Analysis and Insights Analyse sales trends, customer purchasing patterns, and product performance Assist in forecasting and demand planning Identify areas of inefficiency, stock risks, or revenue opportunities Cross - functional Collaboration Work closely with merchandising, supply chain, operations, and finance teams Support decision making with clear, concise, data backed insights Participate in ad hoc analytical projects and business improvement initiatives 6.
