Enjoy career development and certification support Key Responsibilities Deliver advanced technical support across routers, switches, firewalls, APN services, and wireless access points. Network troubleshooting, voice patching, and change management in line with ITIL and best practice frameworks. Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to translate business needs into effective technical solutions. Maintain and enhance technical documentation and operational procedures. Act as a senior escalation point, providing mentorship and leadership within the team. Ensure regulatory and security compliance (ICASA, POPIA, and related standards). Drive continuous improvement and stay ahead of emerging technologies within the telecoms and infrastructure landscape. Skills & Experience 5 years relevant experience, with experience working for an ISP Advanced knowledge of routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, STP). Strong background in network security (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, threat mitigation). Must have hands‑on experience with all of these: Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet technologies. Proven ability to troubleshoot complex environments (IP, voice, cloud, SD‑WAN, hybrid systems). Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Bonus: Experience with APN, RADIUS, and automation scripting.
