Overview: Our client, a leading supplier of premium coffee solutions, frozen beverages, and related product ranges, is seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Consultant to join their growing team. This role is focused on generating new business opportunities and building long-term customer relationships through product demonstrations, tastings, and consultative selling. Successful candidates will undergo comprehensive training on the company's product portfolio and sales processes. Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 / Matric 3+ years sales experience Hospitality, coffee, beverage, or related industry experience - advantageous Computer literate - MS Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook) Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle Willingness to travel as required Good knowledge of the Pretoria market Ability to communicate professionally in English - Afrikaans (advantageous) Strong customer service orientation Key Responsibilities: New Business Development Generate and secure new business opportunities within the assigned territory Conduct client visits, product demonstrations, and tastings to showcase the company's product offerings Convert qualified leads into long-term customers Identify additional sales opportunities during client visits and market engagements Maintain a consistent pipeline of prospective customers Sales & Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process Represent the company professionally and positively in the marketplace Product Demonstrations & Trials Conduct product tastings and demonstrations for potential customers Coordinate and manage free trial installations where applicable Follow up on trial customers and convert opportunities into sales Market Awareness Remain alert to market trends, competitor activity, and new business opportunities Develop a strong understanding of the local trading environment and customer base Training & Development Participate in structured product and sales training programmes Gain comprehensive knowledge of the company's coffee, frozen beverage, and retail product ranges Collaborate with experienced sales consultants across multiple branches during the onboarding period Travel Requirements Extensive travel may be required during the initial training period Consultants will spend time in various branches learning from experienced team members Monthly travel to outlying areas within approximately a 400km radius of the branch may be required, depending on business needs Key Competencies Strong communication and interpersonal skills Confidence in engaging with new customers and initiating conversations Self-motivated and target driven Professional presentation and conduct Strong problem-solving ability and initiative Ability to work independently and within a team environment Adaptability and willingness to learn Excellent organisational and time-management skills Ability to follow processes while thinking proactively and creatively
