As a Mid-Senior Power BI Developer , you will own the end-to-end delivery of data intelligence solutions. This role goes beyond dashboard creation—you will architect the flow of complex banking data through robust ETL processes to empower the bank’s leadership to make accurate, data-driven decisions with 100% confidence. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain automated ETL pipelines to ingest data from multiple banking sources (SQL Server, AWS, Databricks, Azure). Ensure high-quality data transformation, cleansing, and integration processes. 2. Data Modeling Build scalable, performant Star and Snowflake schemas in Power BI to support advanced financial reporting. Translate complex business rules into efficient data models. 3. Advanced Visualization Develop intuitive, high-impact dashboards that convert complex financial datasets into actionable insights. Ensure visualizations align with business KPIs and reporting requirements. 4. Optimization & Performance Tuning Optimize DAX and SQL queries for multi-million row datasets. Improve report performance and responsiveness. 5. Stakeholder Collaboration Partner with banking business units to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Act as a bridge between business needs and technical execution. 6. Quality Assurance Implement rigorous data validation checks to maintain “one version of the truth” across all reports. Monitor data integrity and troubleshoot anomalies proactively. Technical Requirements Power BI Expertise Advanced DAX: measures, calculated columns, time intelligence functions. Power Query (M): data transformation, cleansing, and automation in Power BI Desktop. SQL Mastery: expert-level T-SQL/PL-SQL for complex queries, joins, and stored procedures. Azure Stack: experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) or SSIS for orchestrating ETL processes. AWS Experience: familiarity with AWS data services and pipelines. Big Data: understanding of large-scale financial datasets and data latency implications. Experience & Qualifications Experience: 5+ years in Data Analytics or Business Intelligence roles, ideally within the Banking or Financial Services sector. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field. Certifications (advantageous): Soft Skills Analytical Rigor: Naturally questions data discrepancies and seeks clarity.
