Specific responsibilities (not limited to) Key KPI’s are the following, but are not limited to these alone: Receive job cards and understand task instructions before beginning any work Collect and prepare materials such as rubber, flanges, polyhouse, wires, and mandrels Assist with loading rubber onto mandrels and preparing materials for production Measure mandrels and hoses accurately using tape and OD tape Assist the machine leader during the pipe‑building process or conduct independent tasks when required Paint flanges and record product specifications Help the team leader ensure availability of consumables, tools, and materials Ensure cleanliness and assist in maintaining housekeeping standards Follow all safety procedures when using tools and moving materials Participate in hose finishing, poking, tightening, and related production activities Assist with material cutting and deliveries when required Work collaboratively with the production team to ensure seamless workflow Qualifications and Experience Basic literacy and numeracy skills beneficial Grade 12 preferred Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment advantageous Knowledge of hose‑building, rubber products, mandrels, and related materials advantageous Understanding of PPE and safety procedures On‑the‑job production or machine assistant experience will be advantageous #J-18808-Ljbffr
