G-Chem Aqua is looking for a driven, passionate, go-getter to join our team in Gqeberha for our Easter Cape District as an experienced Water Treatment Service Technician. Salary range: R25 000 - R30 000 per month Duties: Meet and exceed set targets in line with the company and district strategies. Grow and develop existing client base and pursue opportunities for new business. Visit G-Chem Aquacare's industrial water treatment clients across the Eastern Cape to perform weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly services for applications including boilers, cooling towers, chillers, effluent, and potable water treatment plants. Collect water samples from the various systems, analyse them, and compile electronic service reports for discussion with the client's responsible person(s). Flag, report, troubleshoot, and fix any on-site problems. Have a keen eye for detail, and ensure sites and collateral are kept to the highest standard, in line with company expectations Perform minor repairs on dosing and control equipment. Report to the warehouse daily to collect and safely transport chemicals, while also maintaining a sound, accurate stock control system, and taking accountability for stock levels. Refill chemical dosing tanks in line with instructions and guidance from the District Manager Compile the delivery documents, have them signed on-site by the correct person, and then send them to the relevant department for processing. Be a conscious brand advocate and take the greatest pride in always complying with South African legislation relevant to our industry and G-Chem Aquacares policies to ensure safety, ethical behaviour and compliance at all times. Perform any other duties assigned by the District Manager or National Sales Manager. Minimum requirements: Degree/Diploma or relevant Certificate in Chemical Engineering/Chemistry/Water Treatment or relevant field At least 2 years of experience in water treatment or related industries Valid driver's license and proven track record of responsibly and safely operating company vehicles Good communication skills (both verbal and written) - in English A can-do and always willing to learn attitude, and interpersonal skills The nature of the work also requires a physically fit individual with sober habits Start Date: Immediately #J-18808-Ljbffr
