We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator with experience in a steel or metal processing environment to join a high-performance production team. Role Purpose To accurately and safely cut steel materials to specified dimensions while minimising waste, ensuring traceability, and maintaining strict safety and quality standards within a fast-paced steel warehouse environment. Minimum Requirements Grade 12 or equivalent 3+ years’ experience in medium to heavy industry (steel/metal fabrication preferred) Experience operating band saw or similar industrial cutting equipment Ability to read and interpret job cards and technical measurements Strong understanding of safety standards and PPE compliance Physically fit and detail-oriented English required (Afrikaans advantageous) Key Responsibilities Operate band saw machines to cut steel accurately within tight tolerances Ensure proper marking, measuring, weighing, and recording of all cut materials Maintain safety compliance and clean working conditions at all timesPerform basic machine checks, cleaning, and blade monitoring Complete job cards and maintain traceability records accurately Support workflow efficiency through teamwork and communication #J-18808-Ljbffr
