MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Proven experience managing commercial crop farming (100 ha+)* Strong in administration of farming and finance system. Experience in land preparation, mechanised farming, and workforce coordination Ability to work independently and solve problems on the ground Good planning, record-keeping, and cost awareness Good at working and collaborating in a team Works well with contractors, service providers, local labour, and technical advisors *Cassava experience is an advantage but not essential – strong row-crop or field-crop experience will be considered. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE Plan and manage the farm expansion from land clearing through to planting and crop establishment Coordinate land preparation, clearing, fencing, and access roads Manage equipment sourcing, contractors, and maintenance Recruit, train, and supervise supervisors and operators. Implement planting, fertilisation, weed and pest control schedules Oversee input sourcing, compliance, and safe storage Work with agronomists on soil health, plant density trials, fertiliser regimes, and cover crops Establish administration & tracking systems for costs and farming.
