REQUIREMENT: - RSA ID and legal residence essential- Minimum 2 years' experience as an Assistant General Manager within a 4-star hotel environment- Strong operational knowledge of Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Guest Relations- Proven leadership and team management skills- Excellent guest relations and customer service ability- Strong understanding of stock control, financial controls, and hotel operations- Ability to manage and motivate teams effectively- Excellent communication and organisational skills- References are essential- Own transport advantageous- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced hospitality environment- Stable employment history essential- Candidates with a history of frequent job changes will not be considered- Must be seeking a long-term career opportunity and committed to growing within the business KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assist the General Manager in overseeing all hotel operations- Ensure exceptional guest experiences and service delivery standards- Support and manage Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Guest Relations departments- Monitor operational standards and implement continuous improvements- Assist with budgeting, stock control, financial controls, and reporting- Lead, mentor, and develop departmental teams- Handle guest complaints and ensure prompt resolution- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and hospitality standards- Conduct regular inspections to maintain quality and presentation standards- Support revenue generation and operational profitability initiatives- Act as relief for the General Manager when required PACKAGE: - R35,000 (Negotiable DOE)- Live-out position LOCATION: Plettenberg Bay Western Cape
