Minimum Requirements National Diploma in Electrical / Electronic / Automotive Engineering or Information Technology (NQF 6). Trade Test qualification. Minimum 3 years experience as an Electrical or Electronic Technician in a manufacturing environment. Must have Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC programming experience. Experience with robotics and automated systems. Computer literacy (MS Office, ERP, and MES systems). Key Responsibilities Perform planned, preventative, and breakdown maintenance on factory equipment. Conduct fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on electrical systems and machinery. Complete and close maintenance job cards accurately and on time. Maintain and support PLCs, robots, and automated systems. Ensure machines and processes operate efficiently and according to specifications. Provide technical support to production and factory teams. Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on equipment failures. Ensure compliance with company procedures, safety standards, and regulations. Assist with cost control initiatives and reducing operational waste.
