Minimum Requirements Matric certificate/ equivalent NDip / B Tech in Quantity Surveying Professional registration or membership (e.g. SACQSP / RICS – advantageous) Knowledge of the Health & Safety Act and Regulations Mine Experience, Knowledge & Skills 5–10 years experience in quantity surveying Experience in underground mining environments Quantity surveying and cost engineering principles Cost forecasting and project financial reporting Advanced computer skills – MS Office, Teams, SharePoint and InEight Processing of transactions and reporting using ERP systems Contract and Claims and variation administration and understanding of mining, construction, or EPC projects Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Collaborative and solution‑driven approach Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills Roles & Responsibilities Prepare, manage, and monitor project budgets and cost reports Track actual progress, quantify earned value cost and revenue Track actual costs against budgets and forecasts Identify cost variances, trends, and risks and recommend corrective actions Identify changes to contract baseline, quantify changes and prepare variation quotations Prepare cash flow forecasts and cost‑to‑complete assessments Prepare ad-hoc analysis and reports Ensure accurate financial control across the project lifecycle Ensure accurate contract administration, compile project communication and maintain accurate registers Ensure compliance with change management process and proceduresPrepare interim valuations, progress claims, and payment certificates Verify subcontractor and supplier claims and invoices Ensure valuations are accurate, and contractually compliant #J-18808-Ljbffr
