Prominent mining organisation is seeking a highly experienced and self-sufficient Stores Manager from an industrial or mining environments to establish, implement, and manage a fully functional stores and inventory control operation from the ground up. The successful candidate will operate with a high degree of autonomy and will be accountable for building a best-in-class stores function aligned to operational requirements. Strategic & Setup (Critical Focus) Design and implement a complete store and inventory management system from scratch. Establish stock control procedures, binning systems, and material coding structures. Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all stores activities. Define minimum/maximum stock levels, reorder points, and critical spares strategies. Operational Management Oversee all receiving, storage, issuing, and dispatch activities. Ensure accurate stock recording and real-time inventory visibility. Lead stock takes, cycle counts, and reconciliations. Manage supplier deliveries, discrepancies, and returns. Inherent Requirements Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain / Logistics / Warehouse Management preferred. 8–12+ years’ experience in stores or warehouse management. #J-18808-Ljbffr
