The team partners closely with clients to ensure reliable operations from project handover through the full service lifecycle. You'll join a technically strong, hands-on environment where quality, safety, and customer satisfaction are core, and where proactive problem-solvers are trusted with real responsibility. The Role The Role: Service Technician You will support the implementation and commissioning of electrical, controls, and instrumentation systems on projects and then provide ongoing service and maintenance for clients. The role blends on-site technical work with planning, stakeholder communication, and safety compliance to ensure systems meet standards and operate reliably. Key Responsibilities Manage assigned service plans and schedules end-to-end Plan and execute project commissioning alongside engineering and project supervisors Arrange and confirm client service appointments; set clear expectations Liaise with customers via email, phone, and in person; provide timely updates Participate in weekly service/project meetings and post-mortems; capture actions Oversee on-site work quality, standards, and timelines; supervise contractors with the internal team Enforce safety management and compliance on site Ensure all work complies with SANS and SAIRAC standards Use Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint to document and report About You 5+ years experience as a service technician in wiring, controls, instrumentation, and fault finding Matric plus Trade Certificate (Electrician); HVAC/Refrigeration trade or instrumentation/controls diploma advantageous Computer literate; proficient with Microsoft Office Valid Code 08 drivers licence Strong commissioning experience and industrial installation exposure Intuitive, proactive, and self-motivated; plans ahead and follows through Quality-driven with excellent customer relationship skills Safety-conscious, organized, and comfortable supervising contractors #J-18808-Ljbffr
