Role Description The incumbent is primarily responsible for establishing new business from new and existing clients, as well as understanding clients needs and selling appropriate products and services. The Business Development Manager is also responsible for the efficient running of the Sales and maintaining customer relationships in their respective Regions through sound people management, good administrative and compliance practices.Role Responsibility includes: Ensure brand dominance and increase growth in your respective area Creating development plans and forecasting sales targets and growth projections Identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities and new business Managing client relationships and offering exceptional service Collaborate with the Sales and Operations teams to ensure requirements are met, such as sales numbers and profit goals Develop, execute, and oversee a business strategy that prioritises growth and positive customer ratings Conduct high-level industry research to develop effective sales solutions Manage a pipeline of client engagements in line with the companies CRM system. Qualifications :Matric, coupled with any relevant 3-year qualification in Sales and Marketing Experience Required: A minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience with a proven track record Experience within the following industries will be preferable (mining, construction and petrochemical industries) Good knowledge of OHSA and MHSA Ability to meet and exceed set sales targets Computer literacy (MS Office) Good customer service and relationship building Strong Communication and Negotiation skills are mandatory Ability to work independently and as part of a team Inherent job requirements: Willing to travel Valid drivers license with own reliable vehicle Salary - R30 000 CTC, plus commission and petrol card.
