Historic Wine Estate based close to Franschhoek is looking for an experienced Executive Marketing & Estate Sale Director to drive revenue growth by developing and implementing effective sales strategies for wine products and offers on the estate. Tasked with leading, refining and executing the Estate’s marketing and sales strategy; driving occupancy; revenue growth; and brand positioning across all estate offerings (accommodation, events, venue hire, hospitality experiences, tourism partnerships and wine). The successful candidate will lead the strategy and implementation of marketing and estate sales across the estate, build strong client relationships; expand market reach; and ensure achievements of sales targets while maintaining the brand’s reputation and values. Develop and own the Estate Marketing Strategy whilst overseeing and providing advice on the wine marketing strategy. Duties Strategic Marketing Leadership:Refine positioning of the estate within the Western Cape luxury / tourism / events landscape Give strategic guidance into property development Align marketing strategy with occupancy and revenue targets Define clear customer segments (corporate retreats, tourism operators, high-net-worth guests, etc.) Drive brand consistency across digital, print, partnerships, and on‑site experience Oversee content, campaigns, PR, and brand storytelling Estate Sales & Occupancy Growth:Build and maintain relationships with: Corporate event agencies, Tour Operators, Luxury travel advisors, Hospitality networks, Strategic local and international partners, Influencers and Lifestyle market Proactively pursue new commercial opportunities Personally engage in high‑level negotiations Identify and convert key accounts Revenue & Performance Ownership:Take responsibility for estate-related revenue growth Build sales forecasting models Track and manage booking pipeline Implement CRM or sales tracking systems if required Work closely with operations to ensure alignment between marketing and delivery Brand & Experience Development:Ensure the brand remains aspirational and distinctive Identify new revenue-generating estate experiences Develop campaign concepts tied to estate seasons/events Oversee visual identity, tone, and guest journey alignment Team & Executive Leadership:Lead internal marketing and reservations resources Manage agencies and external suppliers Ensure high standards of execution and organisation Operate with urgency and accountability Requirements Grade 12 A formal qualification At least 10+ years senior marketing and/or commercial leadership experience Sales Experience – Proven ability to drive revenue growth Strong hospitality / tourism / estate / luxury brand / wine experience required A natural relationship builder and dealmaker Strong manager and leader of people Ability to build a network Commercially astute and numbers-driven Highly organised and execution-focused Creative thinker with strategic depth Comfortable being highly visible and client-facing Energetic, resilient, and performance-oriented #J-18808-Ljbffr
