Job Purpose We are seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented Finance Manager to join our dynamic motor dealership group. Reporting directly to the Group CFO, this role is responsible for the full accounting function of a dealership entity, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and effective financial management to support business performance. Responsibilities Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly reports to the CFO and Dealer Principals. Manage the full accounting function, including general ledger and reconciliations. Ensure accurate daily bank reconciliations and cashbook management. Oversee debtor accounts and drive collections within agreed credit terms. Maintain accurate vehicle and deal cost records, identifying anomalies. Implement and monitor internal financial controls and company policies. Support audit processes, ensuring internal and external audit readiness. Oversee procurement and supplier management processes. Maintain good relationships with OEM, Customers, Suppliers, Staff and regulatory bodies. Manage and support junior admin and bookkeeping staff. Desired Requirements, Experience, Qualifications & Key Competencies Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Minimum 5–7 years’ relevant experience in the motor industry, including dealership level experience, with at least three years managing a finance team. Excellent Computer Literacy (MS Office; Internet, email with advance Excel and financial analysis capability). Experience with dealership systems (e.g. Evolve, Kerridge, Automate, Pinnacle) beneficial. Clear record based on various verification checks. Proficient in both English and a local South African language. Valid Driver’s Licence. Preferred to be based in the East Rand or close to the dealership. High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Effective communication and reporting skills. High level of integrity and professionalism.
