Department: Operations / Manufacturing Reports To: General Manager / CEO Location: Head Office (Gauteng – Olifantsfontein & Clayville) Employment Type: Full-time Permanent Closing Date for Applications: 31 January 2026 Purpose of the Role To take full ownership and P&L responsibility for the manufacturing business unit, driving operational excellence, profitability, zero-harm safety, quality standards and strong team performance in a fast-moving production environment. Key Responsibilities Full operational leadership of the business unit (mechanical, electrical, technical, IR, SHEQ and training) Develop and execute strategic business & production plans Set performance goals, monitor progress and implement corrective actions Manage the full financial portfolio – budgets, cost control, profitability and capex Ensure rapid and effective response to operational contingencies Drive performance management at team and individual level Implement and maintain a “zero harm” safety culture with full legislative compliance Oversee quality management systems and processes Ensure sound corporate governance and financial controls Manage HR and labour relations (disciplinary, unions, EE, skills development) Deliver excellent HSE results and continuous improvement Minimum Qualifications / Experience / Skills / Personal Characteristics / Other Requirements Matric / Grade 12 (NQF 4) Relevant tertiary technical qualification (engineering, operations or production management) Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a production/manufacturing environment at management level Proven track record managing a full P&L in manufacturing Strong financial acumen and budgeting skills Solid understanding of SHEQ legislation and implementation Computer literate – advanced Microsoft Office (JDE experience a strong advantage) Excellent written and verbal communication at all levels Valid driver’s licence and own transport Emotional self-control, trustworthiness, adaptability, initiative, service orientation, conflict management and punctuality Remuneration Market-related salary + performance bonus + company benefits (full details will be discussed during the interview). #J-18808-Ljbffr
