Bakery Advisor | Western Cape | Yeast Manufacturer We are seeking a BAKERY ADVISOR to join the team of a leading yeast manufacturing company in the Western Cape’s Epping, Industria . This role is a unique blend of technical baking expertise and commercial sales drive . The Role The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth and providing expert product support for our Bakery Specialties portfolio within retail key accounts. This is a highly active, field-based role (90% on the road) that requires traveling into various areas, including townships. Key Responsibilities Hands-on Baking: Baking daily in targeted stores to demonstrate product quality. Technical Support: Troubleshooting, problem-solving, and resolving customer complaints on-site. Sales Growth: Increasing sales volume and value for yeast and specialty ingredients. Training: Upskilling both internal and external bakers on the effective use of products. Market Intelligence: Reporting on competitor activity, market trends, and new business opportunities. Requirements Education: Grade 12. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of sales experience within the FMCG sector. Technical Skill: A formal technical qualification and/or proven professional experience in baking. Mobility: A valid Code 8 driver’s license is essential. Availability: Willingness to be available 24/7 within reason to support bakery operations. Skills: Fully computer literate (MS Office) with excellent rapport-building and communication skills. Remuneration & Benefits Salary: R 18300 CTC (Slightly negotiable based on suitability).
