Company and Job Description We are seeking a Technical Specialist – Reality Capture to support the delivery and adoption of advanced scanning and digital integration solutions, primarily within the facilities management and engineering sectors . Candidates from construction or surveying backgrounds will also be considered, but preference will be given to professionals with direct FM or engineering industry experience . Key Responsibilities Deliver and support 3D laser scanning and reality capture solutions Lead the processing, registration, and management of point cloud datasets using industry‑recognised software Play a key role in scan‑to‑BIM workflows, including model coordination and digital integration Advise clients on best‑practice scanning methodologies and data capture strategies Deliver technical demonstrations, workflow presentations, and solution designs Support implementation, onboarding, and post‑delivery technical engagement Work closely with sales and project teams to ensure successful client outcomes Job Experience & Skills Required (Ideal Candidate Profile) 3–6 years’ experience in reality capture, ideally within the facilities management or engineering environment Extensive hands‑on experience with scan‑to‑BIM workflows, including point cloud processing and data management Strong software‑focused capability — not limited to hardware operation alone Experience working with BIM platforms and digital asset workflows Confidence engaging with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders Commercial awareness and a solutions‑driven mindset Advantageous Experience Trimble RealWorks NavVis Ivion Trimble or NavVis scanning hardware SLAM‑based scanning technologies (e.g., XGRIDS or similar) Common Data Environments such as Trimble Connect or Autodesk Construction Cloud Delivering technical training or workshops Who you are A technically strong problem‑solver who enjoys translating data into value Detail‑oriented with a structured approach to digital workflows Adaptable, tech‑savvy, and eager to keep learning Professional, client‑focused, and confident in collaborative environments Willing to travel when required Location: Centurion (Gauteng) or Cape Town (Western Cape), candidates from either region can apply.
