Minimum Requirements Matric (Grade 12); a relevant qualification in business, retail, or management is advantageous Minimum 3–5 years' experience in fuel retail, convenience store, or related retail management Proven experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment Strong financial acumen — cash handling, reconciliation, stock control Computer literate (MS Office, POS systems) Valid driver's licence Operations Management Manage all forecourt, convenience store, and in-store food/café operations on a daily basis Oversee fuel and retail stock control, ordering, and inventory accuracy Ensure all equipment — pumps, POS systems, refrigeration, café equipment — is maintained and operational Implement and uphold company standards, policies, and brand requirements (Engen, Total, Caltex, etc.) People Management Recruit, train, schedule, and manage a team of fuel attendants, cashiers, and café staff Conduct performance reviews and manage disciplinary processes in line with the Labour Relations Act Foster a positive working environment with a focus on accountability and development Financial Management Manage daily cash-ups, banking, and reconciliation Monitor and control operating costs to achieve profitability targets Analyse sales reports and identify opportunities to grow turnover Handle payroll input and ensure accurate timekeeping records Compliance & Safety Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on the forecourt and in-store Maintain valid operating licences, certificates of compliance, and supplier agreements Conduct regular safety inspections and address any risks promptly Customer Service Uphold high standards of customer service across all areas of the site Handle escalated customer complaints professionally and efficiently #J-18808-Ljbffr
