Tax Consulting South Africa, the largest independent tax practice in South Africa and a market leader in expatriate tax advisory, is seeking a highly capable Professional Assistant to support senior leadership within its Tax Legal Division. The successful candidate will work closely with a senior consultant who is widely recognised as a market and thought leader in the South African tax residency and expatriate tax advisory space, particularly in relation to cross-border tax matters involving internationally mobile individuals, expatriates, and high-net-worth clients. As a firm strongly focused on market leadership and industry presence, the successful candidate will support a senior professional who is actively involved in thought leadership initiatives across the South African and international tax landscape. This includes university guest lecturing, invitations to provide professional commentary for international tax research institutions, hosting webinars and technical sessions for expatriates and tax practitioners, contributing to industry discussions, and maintaining a prominent presence within the expatriate tax advisory market. This is a high-performance support role within a fast-paced professional services environment dealing with sophisticated local and international tax matters involving high-net-worth individual clients. The role requires an individual who is exceptionally organised, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of operating professionally under pressure while managing multiple priorities with accuracy, professionalism, and discretion. Key Requirements Diploma or Degree in a related field advantageous Prior experience within a legal, accounting, financial services, or professional services environment advantageous Strong organisational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills High level of professionalism, discretion, and reliability Strong attention to detail and administrative accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Ability to engage professionally with high-net-worth individuals, executives, and international clients Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Responsibilities Provide executive, administrative, and operational support to the Associate Director and senior legal team Manage calendars, consultations, meetings, workflow coordination, and scheduling requirements Liaise professionally with clients regarding consultations, outstanding information, follow-ups, and administrative processes Maintain accurate client trackers, internal systems, reporting records, and workflow monitoring Assist with the preparation, formatting, and quality control of reports, legal documents, presentations, and correspondence Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, webinar logistics, and operational requirements Assist with administrative coordination relating to industry presentations, webinars, speaking engagements, and thought leadership initiatives Ensure administrative processes are completed accurately, timeously, and consistently Maintain professional communication with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams Support the broader efficiency, responsiveness, and operational functioning of the Tax Legal Division This opportunity offers exposure to sophisticated South African and international tax matters within one of the country’s leading expatriate tax advisory environments. #J-18808-Ljbffr
