Job Description: Design, develop, and support industrial automation and control systems Perform PLC programming, testing, and fault-finding Develop, configure, and maintain HMI interfaces Work with SCADA systems for monitoring, control, and data acquisition Support commissioning, testing, and optimisation of automated systems Troubleshoot automation and control-related faults to minimise downtime Work closely with engineering, production, and maintenance teams on automation projects Prepare technical documentation, system specifications, and reports Ensure automation systems comply with safety, quality, and operational standards Skills & Experience: Proven experience in PLC programming within an industrial environment Hands-on experience with HMI and SCADA systems Good understanding of industrial control systems, sensors, drives, and instrumentation Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control drawings Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Good communication skills and attention to detail Qualification: Minimum of Bachelors Degree in Mechatronics Engineering Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
