Automation Support Specialist (RPA & Blue Prism) The Automation Enablement Specialist will ensure smooth onboarding, monitoring, and lifecycle management of automation solutions (bots, workflows, scripts, and virtual employees). This role is critical in supporting enterprise automation strategy, ensuring reliability, compliance, and business value realization. Key Responsibilities Understand operational requirements of automation solutions during design stage. Initiate procurement/allocation of hardware, software, and licenses. Facilitate system access during QA and Production phases. Verify installation of software/applications and liaise with stakeholders on infrastructure changes. Support setup of virtual employees and ensure readiness for deployment. Automation Monitoring & Control Proactively manage credential validity in Blue Prism. Set up, monitor, and maintain Blue Prism schedules. Provide proactive (monitoring, maintenance, prevention) and reactive (troubleshooting, fixes) support. Ensure automations run successfully in production and align with business case benefits (cost savings, efficiency). Facilitate retirement of virtual employees and update process documentation. Automation Lifecycle Management Manage automation solutions end‑to‑end: setup, deployment, upgrades, ongoing support, and retirement. Collaborate with business and technical teams to align automations with enterprise automation strategy, standards, and governance. Identify opportunities to improve existing automations and recommend enhancements. Document processes, fixes, and best practices for knowledge sharing. Data & Documentation Study approved Solution Design Documents (SDDs) and ensure information is loaded into Alfabet. Maintain accurate records of automation processes, schedules, and retirements. Education & Certifications National Certificate (minimum qualification). Blue Prism® Associate Developer Certification (AD01) – mandatory. Skills & Experience Minimum 1 year of proven experience supporting operations within Blue Prism Control Room. Hands‑on experience with RPA tools (Blue Prism, UiPath, Automation Anywhere) or workflow automation platforms. Strong SQL and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of monitoring and maintaining systems in production environments. Ability to manage automation lifecycle (setup, deployment, upgrades, retirement). Familiarity with financial services processes (advantageous). Strong communication and collaboration skills.
