About the job National Franchise Manager Key purpose: To build a successful Franchise Company in the Courier Express Parcel industry by developing a network of franchisees for the RSA domestic market, Africa and Internationally. Duties and responsibilities: To develop a franchise model that can be contained in a prospectus that offers sufficient opportunity and support value to be attractive to potential buyers. This should include Value Added Support Services, commercial models as well as operational and brand standards. To develop a User-Friendly International offering to be sold through the Franchises. Finalize Master Franchise Agreements at appropriate levels including regional, courier and agency. To successfully open Franchisees according to targets set by the VAS Executive which includes sourcing appropriate buyers that provide long term chances of success. Grow in skills and knowledge both domestic and international markets through leveraging off external resources / courses where required. Understanding the legal complexities surrounding Franchises in general in various geographic markets Publishing a Franchise Manual detailing all operational SOPs, reporting protocols and CI standards to be applied. Travelling to existing Franchisees for auditory purposes to ensure compliance to all set standards. Create a business and financial model delineating income and expenses between SkyNet business units, the new Franchisor, and the franchisees. Developing a pre-paid catalogued product voucher system as a commercial offering. Carry out all duties in accordance with ISO specifications. Develop a streamlined and efficient operational support structure exploiting synergies with existing centres of excellence to support franchises with operational and financial queries and proactively drive service. Ensuring sufficient social media presence and marketing support to underpin growth. Develop reporting protocols on appropriate interim intervals at all levels. Continually research and launch new products at appropriate intervals. Qualifications and experience: Grade 12. Relevant Tertiary Qualification (would be advantageous). Experience in the and courier/express road freight industry. 3 years experience at mid management level within Franchise or Courier industry. South African Citizen with Clear criminal record Skills and Knowledge: Ability to operate independently. Self-motivated Disciplined to create order in daily work Ability to communicate at all levels and strong interpersonal skills Customer and supplier focus Computer literate (MS Office at an advanced level) Ability to interact with I.T. teams in development of new products. #J-18808-Ljbffr
