What's the role? You will be part of the finance team and there's plenty to keep on top of: multiple entities, a full accounting cycle, and a collections function that needs constant attention. We care about getting the fundamentals right, and we actively build smarter ways of working using AI. The person we're looking for knows their way around a cashbook and a debtor age analysis, and is interested in using technology to do the job better. What will you be doing? Revenue Control: Raise Pastel invoices and keep the tracker current. Cashbook: Capture weekly transactions across all bank accounts, coded correctly, no gaps. Journals: Post monthly journals – payroll, recurring entries, and adjustments. Credit Cards: Capture transactions, reconcile to statements, chase supporting documents. Petty Cash: Monthly reconciliation and float administration. Internal Charges: Capture inter‑entity charges and maintain the approval workflows. Supplier Processing: Monthly supplier recons keeping creditor balances accurate and clean. Payment Schedule: Prepare the weekly payment batch and supporting pack for sign‑off. Debtors & Collections: Weekly age analysis, overdue follow‑ups and recording interactions. Month‑End: Support the close‑off process and prepare internal audit packs for review. Who are you?
