This role is critical for managing high-volume accounts and ensuring financial stability through meticulous credit control and relationship management . Positioned within an established brand, the successful candidate will drive efficiency and accuracy across the accounts receivable lifecycle .Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts Receivable Management: Oversee the comprehensive process including invoicing, cash allocation, collections, and detailed reconciliations.Debtor Portfolio Control: Monitor ageing accounts and implement timeous follow-ups or escalations to maintain optimal cash flow.Risk & Policy Compliance: Conduct rigorous credit risk analysis, recommend credit limits, and ensure all activities align with the organisation’s credit policies.Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies by collaborating effectively with internal departments.Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present monthly debtors reports, cash flow forecasts, and bad debt analyses for management review.Operational Excellence: Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal controls and credit procedures while supporting month-end and year-end closing cycles.Leadership Support: Provide mentorship to junior team members and offer support to the broader finance team as required.Requirements Education: A degree or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.Experience: A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Accounts Receivable or Credit Control, ideally within a high-volume environment.Technical Skills: Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to interpret complex financial data.Communication: Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on high-level customer service.Organisation: Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
