Deputy Director: Centre for Social Development The Centre for Social Development invites suitably qualified candidates to join their team. Main Objectives Support and work closely with the Director to lead and manage the CSD. Align Community Development strategically with the overall strategy of the CSD. Integrate the community development function academically with the institution, the Faculty of Education, and the CSD. Qualifications Honours Degree relevant to Education, Social or Community Development (Master’s an advantage). At least 3 years of relevant field experience in early childhood development, community development work, or similar. Management experience of staff and programmes with a strong track record of delivery. Financial management experience and working with budgets. Fundraising experience with a successful track record in conceptualising new proposals, maintaining productive relations with funders and meeting funding requirements. Supervisory experience of at least 3 years at a middle management level. Valid driver's license. Experience in a non-profit organisation is advantageous.
