About the job Junior Bookkeeper - DURBANVILLE We are looking for a Junior Bookkeeper who is eager to grow their career in finance and gain hands‑on experience in a supportive and professional environment. This role is ideal for someone with a solid bookkeeping foundation who is detail‑oriented, organised, and keen to learn. You will work closely with senior finance team members and be exposed to a variety of bookkeeping and finance functions across multiple entities. Key Responsibilities Capture day‑to‑day financial transactions accurately Assist with bank, credit card, and supplier reconciliations Process supplier invoices and support payment runs Assist with customer invoicing and follow up on outstanding debtors Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems Assist with VAT reconciliations and supporting documentation Support month‑end processes and preparation of basic reports Provide general administrative support to the finance team Minimum Requirements Relevant qualification or studies in Bookkeeping, Accounting, or Finance 1-2 years bookkeeping or finance administration experience Basic understanding of accounting principles Exposure to accounting software (Xero, Sage, QuickBooks or similar) Competent in Microsoft Excel Skills & Attributes High attention to detail and accuracy Strong organisational and time‑management skills Willingness to learn and take initiative Ability to work well in a team environment Good communication skills Trustworthy, reliable, and professional #J-18808-Ljbffr
