Hire Resolves client is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations at the facility in Germiston, Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of maintenance technicians, developing and implementing maintenance programs, and ensuring the efficient operation of all equipment and facilities. The Maintenance Manager will also be tasked with identifying areas for improvement, developing continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations. Responsibilities Manage a team of maintenance technicians, assigning tasks and providing guidance as needed Develop and implement proactive maintenance programs to ensure the efficient operation of all equipment and facilities Supervise all maintenance activities, including repairs, upgrades, and preventative maintenance Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunities for improvement and implement cost‑saving initiatives Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards Source and manage external contractors for specialised maintenance tasks Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and costs Assist in preparing annual maintenance budgets and managing expenses effectively Requirements Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering or related field Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail Knowledge of best practices in maintenance management Experience with CMMS software and other maintenance tools Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively Salary Salary: negotiable Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience Contact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
