We are looking for a skilled, hands-on, and reliable Handyman to join our Construction Department. The ideal candidate will have strong maintenance and repair experience across residential, commercial, or farm environments and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. Minimum Requirements Matric (Grade 12) Trade certification in plumbing, basic electrical, carpentry, or related trade will be advantageous Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Handyman or Maintenance Worker Strong experience in:Plumbing Basic electrical work Carpentry Painting Tiling General building repairs and maintenance Comfortable working at heights and using ladders Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills Fluent in English and Afrikaans Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines Willing to work weekends, public holidays, and overtime when required Good health and physically fit Strong safety awareness Reliable, dependable, and detail-oriented Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence Willing to travel to other company sites Key Responsibilities Perform general repairs, maintenance, and installation work on buildings, equipment, and machinery Conduct inspections and fault-finding to identify maintenance issues Carry out plumbing maintenance and repairs Perform preventative and corrective maintenance tasks Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and efficiently Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition Assist with general construction and maintenance projects as required Skills & Competencies Strong technical and practical skills Excellent communication skills Good time-management abilities Ability to work independently and within a team High attention to detail Strong work ethic and willingness to assist where needed
