We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Specialist to join our team in Johannesburg. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing customer engagement and lifecycle initiatives leveraging the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform and integrated enterprise data. You will play a crucial part in addressing fragmented customer engagement by building automated journeys, integrating data, and enabling personalized campaigns. Key Responsibilities Design and develop customer journeys and automation workflows within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Develop and implement dynamic content and personalization using AMP script and SSJS. Integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud with other enterprise systems and data platforms via APIs. Manage data segmentation and audience building for targeted marketing campaigns. Monitor and optimize campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement. Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and data privacy standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute marketing automation strategies. Required Skills and Qualifications 3-7 years of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) or similar marketing automation platforms. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with SFMC. Minimum 3 years of experience with SQL for data querying and manipulation. Minimum 2 years of experience with API integrations. Proven experience in data modeling and segmentation. Strong understanding of customer lifecycle management and marketing automation principles. Experience working within enterprise platforms, marketing automation tools, and CRM environments. Preferred Qualifications Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications. Experience with AWS/Data Lake. Experience with MuleSoft. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JSON. Experience with Power BI for reporting and analytics. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. This is a hybrid role based in Johannesburg. The position is for a 6-month duration.
