Responsibilities Develop, train, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models Work with large datasets, including data cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering Build AI-powered applications such as NLP systems, recommendation engines, and computer vision solutions Integrate AI models into production environments via APIs and cloud platforms Optimize models for performance, scalability, and accuracy Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams Monitor model performance and implement retraining strategies where required Education & Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, Mathematics, or related field 5+ years of relevant experience Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Containerization using Docker and Kubernetes CI/CD pipelines for model deployment Experience in Python, R (advantageous) Experience in TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, Keras SQL / NoSQL databases, Pandas, NumPy, Apache Spark Natural Language Processing (NLP), Generative AI, LLMs The Reference Number for this position is NG61191 which is a Permanent Hybrid role in Johannesburg offering a salary of up to R1.3mil per annum salary negotiable based on experience.
