Overview We are seeking an experienced System Analyst with strong banking and payments experience to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, designing, documenting, and supporting payment systems and banking applications while ensuring alignment with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and technical standards. Responsibilities Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders Analyze and map end-to-end payment processes and banking workflows Support the design and implementation of payment solutions and banking platforms Create process flows, data models, interface specifications, and system documentation Conduct impact assessments for system enhancements and changes Facilitate workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with stakeholders Support testing activities, including SIT, UAT, and defect resolution Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security standards, and governance requirements Assist with production support, incident analysis, and root cause investigations Collaborate with integration teams on API, middleware, and third-party system integrations Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirement-gathering sessions Develop Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), and user stories Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement Support business process re-engineering and digital transformation initiatives Ensure requirements are traceable from inception through delivery Required Experience Minimum 5 years' experience as a System Analyst Proven experience within the banking or financial services sector Strong understanding of payment systems and processes Experience working on large-scale system implementation and integration projects Experience in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environment Exposure to enterprise application architecture and system design Technical Skills Requirements Analysis and Documentation Functional Specification Use Cases and User Stories Process Modelling (BPMN, UML) Data Mapping and Data Analytics SQL and Database Query API Analysis (REST/SOAP) System Integration Analysis JSON and XML Jira and Confluence MS Visio or equivalent process mapping tool Understanding of Microservices Architecture (advantage) Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Information Systems, or a related field Relevant Business Analysis or Systems Analysis certification is an advantage Agile certifications are an advantage #J-18808-Ljbffr
