As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will play a critical role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive key business decisions. Using your expertise in data modelling, dashboard and report development, and integration with databases and APIs, you will create intuitive visualisations and reports that empower stakeholders. This role is essential in building a data‑driven culture and ensuring our teams have the tools and insights needed to achieve their objectives. What you’ll be doing Developing, deploying, and maintaining business intelligence solutions, including dashboards and reports. Creating and optimizing data models to support reporting and visualisation needs. Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable insights. Working with data engineers to integrate data from various sources into the business intelligence data models. Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and quality in all reporting outputs. Automating data extraction, transformation, and reporting processes where feasible. Analyzing data from various sources to ensure that the business acts proactively on the information at its disposal. Continuously searching for new and useful ways to obtain, integrate and analyse data that is relevant to the company’s business model. Debugging, monitoring and troubleshooting current solutions. Educating report end‑users to ensure a maximum spread of expertise around the company. Performing other reasonable duties as may be required to achieve business objectives. Essential skills you’ll bring to the table Undergraduate degree with majors in Information Systems / Mathematics / Statistics / Engineering / Finance or similar. Or at least 3years’ work experience in a business intelligence/engineering role. A relevant post‑graduate degree will be a strong plus. 3+ years’ experience in business intelligence tools such as PowerBI or Tableau. Strong understanding of data modelling and database querying using SQL. Experience developing dashboards, reports and visualisations for business insights. Ability to gather and translate stakeholder requirements into technical solutions. Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration techniques. Experience working with large datasets and optimizing performance in business intelligence tools. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high standards of quality in all outputs. Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and priorities, maintaining effectiveness in dynamic situations. Experience with scripting languages such as Python or R for data analysis. Familiar with statistical testing techniques. Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations. Knowledge of data governance and compliance best practices. Experience with API integrations for dynamic data updates in business intelligence tools. Relevant certifications in business intelligence tools or platforms (e.g. Microsoft PowerBI Professional). Background in financial or operational reporting. Experience with streaming platforms (e.g. Kafka) for real‑time data integration and analytics. Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure Synapse, Snowflake, AWS Redshift).
